Our workforce represents all demographic and educational backgrounds, spanning both rural and urban communities throughout America. Fiber Technician, 18 years

“There's a group of people that have to make it work, the engineers, the designers, the guys that have to dig the holes and plant all the cables in the ground. It's not just simple, plug it in and, "Oh, it works it." There's a whole team of people behind it that make this work.”

“I love my job because it allows me to work directly with the customer. It's pretty an independent work, but at the same time, it's mega rewarding in the sense that I'm able to restore livelihood. In some cases, I'm able to help people get connected in their brand new homes. That's always a great occasion. There's just so many instances in which I really walk away feeling glad that I was able to be there for that customer in that day.”

“The Network Operations Center is… the frontline to keeping the integrity of services throughout the 22 states that we service. Its day-to-day operations affect year-to-year operations. So everything that you do today will be reflected upon within a year. So being able to be that frontline, putting the face to the company between us and the field and the technicians and insurance that our customers are fulfilled in the services that we promise them, is something that we try to deliver every day.”

“I troubleshoot any technical issues that a client may have with the Mediacom business side, whether it's cable, internet, or phone. They can call us via phone or reach out to us through the email service and we can troubleshoot any issues that they have via telephone. If that does not give them the resolution, we could generally get somebody out there to get them the assistance that they need.”
